Extreme Heat Cooling Centers

For the most up to date cooling center information, please call 2-1-1 and speak to a Call Center Specialist.

Extreme heat cooling centers offer the general public air-conditioned relief and cool water during the hottest part of the day. Please note that cooling sites are typically available if an Excessive Heat Advisory (Heat Index is expected to reach 105 degrees or air temperature will range from 100 – 104 for four or more consecutive days) or an Excessive Heat Warning is issued by the National Weather Service.

Enter your zip code to search for cooling centers in your area. If you don't find a center in your zip code, please search the next closest zip code to you. To ensure a site is operating during the time you plan to visit, please call the site ahead of time.
