United Way 211 partners with the Missouri Emergency Management Agency and the Illinois Emergency Management Agency as well as local offices of emergency management to provide citizens with critical information and non-emergency assistance before, during and after emergency or disaster events. The United Way 211 relieves pressure on 9-1-1 and emergency response teams by completing initial disaster intakes and providing messaging and resource information to survivors.
