May 2025 severe Storm and Tornado support

Following the severe storms and tornadoes that occurred in the St. Louis region on May 16, 2025, immediate response and recovery efforts began with United Way 211 serving as a key resource for local individuals and families impacted by storms.

If your residence was damaged by the tornado, regardless of the color tag placed on the building, please register with FEMA for assistance.  The deadline to apply for assistance is AUGUST 11, 2025. There are three ways to register for FEMA Assistance.

1.  Call 800-621-3362

2.  Register on-line at www.DisasterAssistance.gov

3.  Visit a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC)

  • To report a loss and begin the process of receiving SNAP replacement benefits, you must complete and submit an Online Replacement Request before June 16, 2025. You may also print the Replacement Request Form and submit it by fax (573) 526-9400 or mail to: Family Support Division, P.O. Box 2700, Jefferson City, MO 65102.
